Hey so I haven't had a chance to read all these but I'm glad that the truth about these folks can be known. Of course it's not their fault but instead mine for.. Being a coustemer?

I'm not too sure why I'm being blamed by CFD for what was done to my truck. We had a common goal but obviously they were in way over their head or something, and yes I absolutely did expect a show truck quality kit and fortunately there are company's that do stuff like that everyday. And it's definatly not CFD despite their extraordany claims of 1000+ hp rigs etc etc... None of their trucks are over 1000 hp while I believe Custom Auto has 4 shop trucks over 1k and obviously Dmitri is rather successful with his racing, well known diesel icon. These guys back their work/ claims with trophies and magazine articals etc etc etc, bringing my truck to CFD was a mistake, I learnt from it

Dan -- don't sweat it. That's how they roll. We would have been surprised if they DIDN'T try to blame you. Hell, they also blamed the customer on the last SNAFU that was posted here. At least they're consistent....

Cfd has tried to make a comeback on here a couple times. I got pms from one of the enployees about matt doyals truck. I told them guys to post some pictures of matts truck and let the work speak for itself. I recieved and email stating they werent going tob post pictures because the weld quality was low and the general population would tear their work apart. I was shocked to say the least.

Cfd working on matts truck is just a stunt to try and work against spe. They will do that to anyone. I'm surprised they have lasted this long but with ethics like that they wont last much longer

battlefeild automotive is a much better name for that group of guys...

anyways whats funny about matts truck is, well its completly torn appart now. it went to CFD for a "fix" and came out with exhaust leaks and boost leaks... matts still under the CFD umbrella but its only a matter of time till his stuff fails in the exact same way mine did... oh wait it already did.. except worse

after he had cfd put on his new billet wheel for his 63 mm charger the charger greneaded. i assume cfd was "rushed" with that build too cause it was only in their shop for 3 days....

Even though I would love to see CFD meet it's demise, I'm ready to see some progress on your truck by a real diesel shop. When are they gonna get started Dan?

truck is at Custom Auto as of monday, and i haven't heard if they have started pulling it apart or anything, i know we changed the turbo sizing on the lo pressure side so that might be a little bit of a holdup waiting for the new turbo, but on the same hand i am in absolutely zero rush with these folks and if i haven't heard anything, i might give them a call on monday or something.. im very relaxed about my build being completly in their hands solely because of the trucks they have built in the past are absolutely beautiful!!! short answer: anytime her now! hahaha they are a busy shop though too!

I'd have them drop the oil pan while its in there just to see what rods are really in it. Did you do stock pistons or upgraded ones?
