7.3 build questions

You shouldn't have taken the heads off. If you just bought another running motor, you should have just taken one head bolt out, and then put a stud back in. One at a time. Thats the best way to do a 7.3 thats never had the heads off.

It already had the heads off the guy before me pulled em regardless of that what's the best way to clean this pig up

Flip it upside down so you dont get more crap in it...
Then razor blade it..

Are you buying a rebuild kit for later? Why not just do it all right now, while it's on a stand? I understand you're on a budget but doing it once is always cheaper than doing it twice. Since the heads are already off, it makes sense, to me anyway, to go ahead and do the whole thing. Just my 2 cents.
