7.3 HPOP question

I am having a small puddle of oil in the engine valley. Is it possible for the back of the hpop near the c-clip be the leak point or source? Has anyone else ever have a similar issue? Thanks in advance.

Yep, that seal can leak.. Real fun to replace.

Mine was weeping in the seal between the HPOP itself and where it mounts on the block.

too funny. I dont think it could be an srp. As far as i know this is the stock pump. The previous owner only put rain gaurds on the windows as far as modifications go, ive done everything else.

I was commenting on his statement ONLY SRP pumps leak from that spot.

you have to admit these guys make it too easy.

although I didnt see them speaking up in any of the threads slagging the srp in regards to them leaking from the rear cover (IMO srps came with a junk Oring and a smear of silicone, the dieselorings viton is what I replaced mine with and it was leak free with no sealant added)
