So I have been thinking about putting a new piston and rings in my #5 dead hole. only getting about 100 psi out of it during a compression test but I can pressured the cylinder to almost 300 with my co2 tank so im thinking its a cracked or got a hole. What would be the best way to go about this?

Thanks for any info

I would imagine you may be able to suspend the engine long enough to remove the oil pan then set it back down to remove the head roll the crank around and drop the rod out.. Its alot of work and kinda sketchy at best, if it were me I would yank it if I had the capability.

Can you just replace the one piston? I have a motor that the glow plug broke off and beat up the head of the piston. Would be great if I could just replace that one piston and put it all back together.
