I’m not a huge fan of an adjustable hitch due to longevity with wearing parts, but I have a need to have either 3-4 hitches or an adjustable one for the work truck. It might see 100 miles of towing in 5-10k miles, so hardly any use at all. I don’t want to waste the money spent, so what is the best with 2-1/2” shank, 2“-5“ or 6” drop and has a 2” and 2-5/16” balls? Using this on a stock height CCLB 4x4.

Thanks in advance

I will add this. There not cheap. The link is to there highest rated 2.5 shank hitch. They have lower rated ones as well. Two others to be exact.

I have a Weight Safe Aluminum 18,000lb with an 8" drop. I like it a lot, and it's Aluminum so it won't rust in the hitch. I highly recommend a stainless hitch silencer too, for both noise and to keep it from rubbing.

I use a gen-y torsion flex hitch. I've had it for 5 years and tow at or near its weight rating regularly with no issues. There not a cheap hitch but worth the price.

Thanks guys. A couple more to consider. Trying to stay Made in America and I think these are all on the list.

I see the OP went Bulletproof and a good choice, but surprised no one mentioned B&W?

I’ve had one close to 15 years now and it’s still as good as new..:)

I have a few b&w hitches as well as bulletproof. The ONLY complaint I have with b&w is this, they don’t offer weight distribution or anti sway hookups like bulletproof and geny. I’d rather have one hitch that can do it all then some. Other that that the b&w is a great hitch, I’ve had 2 since 2005 with no issues.
