aFe exhaust

Anybody run it? If so do you like it and would you recommend it to others or advise people to stay away? The only aFe stuff I've run is an airfilter so I'd like some feed back, good or bad, before I make a plan to purchase since they seem to be the only ones who have a setup the way I want it that I can find - dp back, w/bungs and muffler.

I run it. I'd say it's the same as any other exhaust out there. I also have a muffler on mine. No problems here.

This is the exact kit that I run and love it!! I really like how easy it was to put on the truck and its fits like a glove and tailpipe with chrome tip looks great. I would recomend this kit to all and I would buy it again.

I run diamond eye. It's good if your on a budget. They have with bungs and no bungs.

How's the noise with the muffler? I currently have a straight pipe system that was on the truck when I got it and would like something quiter.

Thanks but I've run Diamond Eye in the past on another truck and it fit like crap but appreciate the input.

Ove run it before. I've had diamond eye, afe and flo pro. I think he afe is the best made of the 3 and the fitment is spot on. Currently running flo pro only because afe does not make a 5" downpipe back straight pipe.

If I were to run 4" exhaust, it would be AFE without a doubt. I choose to run 5" though and I decided on Flo-Pro. After having Diamond Eye, I'm very happy I went with Flo-Pro. Mainly for the look though...not quality.

In my opinion, AFE is great quality and fits great. You'll be happy with it of you go that route.

I'm pretty sure driving around it is quiter than a straight pipe but at wot it sounds almost the same. I've never run a straight pipe but I plan on trying it out so I'll let you know.

We install afe on every 6.4 that comes through. Best exhaust fitment you can find. They finally released a 5" dp back for 6.7s, I'm sure 6.4 is in the works
