I'm looking for replacement headlights
i'd love some thing in Glass..
But that's probably not available.

Anyway,
The only thing I'm finding is either projector type headlights or something with halos that look really corny.

My stock plastic lenses have faded over the years and I'm looking for a replacement that retains the stock look but offers a brighter projection.
I guess I could go with a brighter H4 headlight bulb (or whatever the bulb is I don't really recall)

But I don't really want to blind everyone on the road.

I'm just looking for a slightly better than stock.

This one of my heart burn areas... I wish I to could find a good quality alternative to the stock head lights that have clear lenses.

There never has been much quality aftermarket for our years.

For headlights check out

Headlightsdepot.com

I have zero idea of how good they are but they do have a selection

Not all LED bulbs are created equal. Do your homework before buying. Make sure to buy from a place that tests the bulbs pattern and brightness.

For LED's you need a different reflector in the housing itself or you will never get a good projection. The light will be whiter but it won't reach out there.

On polishing the lenses there are a number of kits out there that have everything that you need to do the job that give you good results.

There are also YouTube videos where they use progressively finer grits of wet/dry sandpaper and then a clear sealant to clear them up.

Or a quick home job with baking soda and water for the cheap route.

Yeah I've polished plenty of headlights also motorcycle screens and windshields.

I don't need YouTube.
Or a kit.

I have used novus for years and it's the best stuff out there.

No need to change the reflector in the housing If (and it's a big if) the led bulb is built correctly. Most on the market are junk. If they are built correctly they will hit the reflector just like the factory bulbs. But be brighter down range and have a better cut of for low beam compared to the factory bulb.

Again, that's a big if.

So whats a quality brand?

Ive bought small led bulbs from
Superbrightleds
And they seem ok

But never headlight bulbs

Just because I like sprinkles on my sherbet means nothing
These obs projectors are amazing.
No silly halos or accent lights needed.
Just amazing light output without blinding everyone else on the road.

I don’t think $265 if honestly that bad for a good quality product if that’s what your looking for. Pretty sure HID replacements are about the same price aren’t they?
I hear what you are saying. I have seen HID replacement that are more than $265. I will say this. Next time I burn out a halogen bulb I am going LED.

I’ll have to check them out looking for options myself.
I want the 3” MLED setup but not for the $700 price tag
