I would like that set up too. I can't run the filter that Shone is, too damn long. Need one two or three inches shorter in length. May call AFE and see what the have.

It's not your filter that's restricting the air Erik. There's just not enough air getting to the back of the engine bay. Could try building some extra airducts to force air to that spot.

Clothes dryer ducting is a lot easier to bend into shape and cheaper too.

Yeah I don't like the thought of that ducting sitting there when I open the hood. But if it works...

I meant for testing to see what works. Once I get a setup that works I'd make it out of thin tubing.
