...wanting to paint my rims that I just bought like 7 months ago?! I'm bored of them already, and have some ideas tossing around in my head.

I was thinking of painting them all with Plasti-Dip, then accenting all the little holes around the diameter of the rim to compliment the wire mesh I'm putting behind my grill. Color is still up in the air...

Here's my rims as they sit now:

Really? I've read primer needs to be used with it though. There's gotta be some sorta prep involved I would imagine. I mean if no prep is involved I'm all for it!

ive only seen it done just the plasti-dip no primer because it allows you to peel it off later if desired. theres lots of youtube videos on peeling it off etc

You weren't kidding, I did go and watch some of the videos, looks lime it peels off like tape! I'm in the middle of modifying my grill and respraying the grill and bumpers (with Plasti Dip), so my next job will be the wheels!
