Wow you have some major fab skills and some nice looking welds! I'm reading your buggy build as well and that looks great too! This is one of my favorite flat beds I have ever seen, and I may have to borrow some of your ideas... Such a nice work truck.

That's a great looking bed and crawler! You are a very talented individual! I'm in NC also. What part are you from?

Idk. Went to the paint Store and they recommended an epoxy direct to metal primer, same as qwikliner. On another note, any trailer I've ever purchased had never had much of a paint job, certainly not blasted before prime, of which I'm sure you are correct. The few places I've had to remove some liner it came off much easier than the primer did.

Ok. I just asked as I used to bump around a welding shop as a kid. We sandblasted stuff after it was fabbed and welded then used reddish brown primer and then a satin black paint. The black paint would chip off but the red primer never did.

I built a pushbar for my 88 ranger around this time and its never rusted out yet. That was twenty years ago. The black paint turned crappy but the part didnt rust out.

I really appreciate the work you put into that bed. Its nothing short of artwork!

I'm only about 3 hrs from Mt. Airy. Anyways the bed looks awesome! The side rails and gate really set it off! Nicely done!

Aside from a few cosmetic items; touch up, over spray, black out center of hood, detailing and building a console... it's done.

I'll post pics soon of hood, lights at night, and console
