Any one fined for emissions tampering?

Just wondering if anyone has any stories about this. I read somewhere you can lose your license for 5 years which sounds a bit extreme.

A few months ago I was stopped by DPS for no front plate. He came up to my window and talked to me then did a walk around my truck. Not sure if he was looking at my exhaust but it sure appeared that way. At the time I had stock tips with a muffler so it was still rather quiet.

But to answer your question I don't know anyone that has.

I've heard of it happening to OTR rigs but not pov's.

Yup. All my stuff will be here Monday. I'm leaving my stock exhaust tip and muffler on there for now too. I bought the SCT X4,
CTS 2 monitor, race pipe, EGR plates with EGT sensor. I think this setup will be perfect. What are you running?

That looks like the majority of the stuff I read as well.

If there intelligent enough to look. They will have a creeper out and it will more than likely be a trained DOT officer in a tahoe.

The tahoe doesn't mean anything around here. They are doing away with the chargers completely and all will be driving tahoes.

At the time I had the banks monster muffler cut into ****** pipe.
Now I have removed that and stuck the straight pipe in and kept stock tips.
It hurts others feelings when they think they are gonna take a stock ford. Then realize the only stock part is the tips
