At least I brought it to TSD before something really bad happened with it.

But seriously, if somebody has a built short block they're selling.....

I have only ever seen a few other pistons like that and that was a 6.4. Oil was overfull and it started burning that up with the fuel. But that is the only instance.

For the guys that dont know ( me included ) what happened? I see the surface altered, but from?

Heat. Egt's were always warm and had gradually been getting hotter. Chris thinks it may be the injectors so he's gonna send them off to be checked out by Warren Diesel.

I always kept it under 1200 while cruising around, but before I dropped it off cruisings temps were about 1100*. So it was my fault also for continuing to drive it.

Regardless of my comment above this is definitely more of an injector/nitrous/not giving a *** issue.
