So here's what I'm thinking

Pioneer AVH-4100NEX head unit

JL Audio 13TW5 sub

JL Audio XD700/xv5 amp

JL Audio C2-570x door speakers front and rear

Any opinions as to how well this system will work in my '08 f350 CCLB?

I think your list looks legit.

I originally chose the HD series amp from JL (900/5) to run my Hertz XL 165's up front, a set of Infinity speakers out back (for fill), and one JL 10TW3-4 shallow sub. I have since decided to scrap the 5-channel for an HD series 600/4 & 500/1 JX series amplifier.

I read a lot of great things about the HD series amps! Let us know how yours turns out.

All installed and works great. I did step up to the XD1000/5 amp to run the sub properly. Great sound and love the Android Auto setup on the HU.

I don't have any pictures of it installed, but this is the box I bought. http://www.spl2k.com/2008superduty.html

I have the power sliding rear window, so the box I got is the last one in the series of pictures. Right now my rear seat is full of stuff, otherwise I'd go snap a picture. I had to modify and slightly relocate the window motor to get the amp mounted back there, but it all worked out pretty well.
