Bad engine??

Ya that sounds right. Because when my truck is warm it has a hard time starting also!! So I'm wondering if I got a bad batch of injectors. I sent my stock ones back to rosewood to have them rebuilt and the mail lost them. So he just sent me a set off of the shelf which kindof worried me. So that's what I'm thinking.

Pis will flow tset and put new rings on them for pretty cheap. But if your rosewood are under warranty he needs to fix them. One thing you can try That may work but kind of doubt it. Get some of that hotshot stiction elminator, suck out a little on your hpop res and add some of that then pour the rest in the fill tube. Might work depends if it's just sticky or if it is scored or has **** caught in it

Oh alright I will check it out. What kindof stuff should I try for that stiction deal?? And my injectors should still be under warranty because I seriously just got them like 2 months ago. But if I don't have to pull them I won't and vise versa.

It's made by a company called hot shot. You can try others just get a quality product. So don't buy the cheapest thing on the shelf

rev ex are all stiction eliminators but itd rare for a 7.3 to have that issue.. did you change the oil when you installed the fresh injectors? or what oil are you running now?

I did change the oil. And I used rotella 15/40. I've heard bad things about it but I'm not sure. What do you guys think??

if it is fresh then i don't see it being an issue but i wont ever run rotella in anything i own...

It's pretty fresh. I might try that stiction thing. But I'm going to email rosewood and see what he can do for me.

i always thought rosewoods injectors to be Bottom of the pickle barrel. Correct me if im wrong but they seem like a repaired injector more then a reman..

My mechanic has put 3 sets of these injectors in different trucks and they haven't had any problems with them. Which makes me wonder.

The whole losing your originals in the mail thing has got to make you wonder. Sounds like you may have gotten some bunk injectors. Getting split shot and single shot mixed up along with the wrong tunes will make the idle terrible as well.

Ya I have been worried about that just like you guys have said. The fact that I didn't get my injectors built. And sent a random set makes me a little bit nervous.

So kindof an update. Yesterday I was driving my truck with the same symptoms. I decided I was going to do a Wot run to see what would happen. It blew black smoke for awhile but when I was at like 25psi of boost it blew a thing of blue smoke. And then I just drove it normal with no blue smoke whatsoever. I'm thinking there might be some oil getting pooled up or something. What do you guys think?
