Is the locknut loose? I have a problem with one on my OUO bars that just won't stay tight even after using loctite on the nut so it clunks randomly and lets me know it came loose again.

Have you talked to Dave?

You should and have him explain the difference between the joints he uses and these.
So your saying Dave isn't using a forged Ballistic joint? Even though it has Ballistic's logo on them? Or you saying PMF doesn't use Ballistic joints? I was just trying to help the OP out since they are the same "style" joints.

Guess I shouldn't have mentioned OUO in a PMF thread. I'm not bashing anyone and didn't blame anyone but myself for my issue with the locknut....

That's why I didn't want to mention Pmf specifically in the thread. I figured ballistic joints are ballistic joints no matter who uses them and what for.

I understand that you are trying to help. No biggie...

I would just call up Trevor and ask him. That is going to be your best bet. He will let you know what to do.
