I'm new to owning a 6.4 and have had mine for a month now. Driving home I got on it and my battery light came on. Voltage was showing 11.9/12.1. When I got home I checked the codes and these popped up
P0620 generator control circuit
P0196 engine oil temp sensor circuit range/performance
P0625 generator field terminal circuit low
P1000 and p0703 I forgot to write down what these 2 were. Any help would be appreciated

That would probably be your alternator not charging properly.

Happened to me, so I replaced the batteries, later to find out it was the alternator...$700 fix when I could have saved money and bought the alternator first.

I'm no mechanic just speaking from experience...so test first.

check cables too, most likely its just the alternator but there is a ground cable that runs to the frame and then the alternator cable runs to the right side battery, on the battery cable there are studs to mount the wire for the alternator. make sure thats good as well.
