I run a RCD 68 VGT and wanted input on what size injectors would be the best for all around use. I have 285/150 hybrids right now and going back to conventionals.

Truck pulls and weekend driver. Just don't like the fact of making oil with the hybrids, and want something a little more street friendly.

I think if you can hold ICP with 225/100s or 225/75 that would be more than enough fuel for that turbo. Probably a 205/75 would be better though.

I run 180/75 with my RCD 68. It cleans them up and runs very well. Wishing I would have done a 205/75 like java mentioned.

When I ran the rcd 68with 205/100s it cleaned it up pretty good but I think 190s would make a better street setup

190/50's should be sufficient and a good match. Hasn't the math shown us that a 50% nozzle is actually enough to empty a 205? Or is that still up in the air?

205/100 or 225/100 Brian. The modified HPOP's will be done shortly so you can hold ICP with 225's.

Ill let you know when they are ready to do. We are waiting on Innovative's testing results currently.

There is a lot that goes into picking an injector size and the best person to talk to would be your tuner and injector builder!

Different tuners use different amounts of pulse width which will greatly affect how it runs. I have some tuners that love and swear by 75% nozzles and others that would prefer to work with 100% nozzles... lol... also not all nozzles flow the same so it is hard to tell sometimes what you are really getting.

Another thing is that if you are using stock hpop and not going to be adding big oil then you do not want to go too big. You can actually lose power once your ICP goes down. It all comes down to tuning, nozzles size and brand, pulse width, etc...

most would say that for that particular turbo 190/75, 205/75, 190/100 or 205/100 would be a good option. I think that 190/50 and 205/50 would also be a good option but 50% nozzles are not very common and I could/would only say that after that particular nozzle has been flow benched.

For reference Jesse Warren dumped 240cc of fuel with 350/75s at 2.4ms and 4000 ICP. That means with the nozzles he uses, max ICP, and 2.4 ms of pulse width you should be able to dump 135, 155, 175, 190, 205, 215, 225, and 240 sized body injectors with a 75% nozzle as long as your tuner utilizes 2.4ms of pulse width and you can hold max ICP. But go with different tuning, different nozzles, etc and it might not work the same.

Hope that helps a little... lol

I have a set of 190/30's I want to sale or trade for something bigger. How old are the 285 hybrids and who built them?

What hp would be made with 205/75 and the 68?

Its hard to quote hp with any certain setup because trucks, dynos, weather, elevation, etc can change it.

I can tell you with 175s and 190s and a KC 68mm vgt I have seen 589hp-633hp and they run super clean. I would venture that 205/75 should be just above that range and might run a little smokey at WOT. Probably 600-650hp range with the right supporting mods
