as you already know, i will be testing the 63 cast vs. the 64.5 fmw .. should net drastic results ( more than 5-10 horse) if bw's results are reflected. i want the spoolup of the 63 with the power of the 66 . this will be on my 6.7 . apparently the fmw wheels have a wicked sound too. coming from the uncorked stock turbo i will like that alot. thanks again for the help jacob and mpd.

oh they sound delightful!

I know of an LML Duramax build getting a s364.5fmw and s480fmw compound setup, should be pretty sweet.

From what I understand it's getting a CP3 conversion of some sort

Do you mean the Dmax's CP3 is getting the conversion (like a modded CP3)? If so, I assume that right now, you don't know how well this held up to 650+ HP?

I'm actually looking into the fmw.. Would like to see what the 67.7 is like compared to my cast 366... If you net a little bit of spool I think it will make the 66 a pretty sweet charger.... I'm also looking at going the 64.5fmw route

this is all simple math. the billet wheel will out spool and out power any cast wheel, period assuming it's a properly engineered wheel. the FMW may not completely out gun a great billet wheel , but for the reliability, it may be worth it.

I have an S467.7/83/1.0 and I absolutely love it. I have 4.10s on stock tires right now and cruising 70mph I'm at 2k and about 5psi but with a little push of the skinny peddle I can go from 5 to 50 in an instant. I'm stock fuel right now but plan on upping to ATS dual cp3s and 150hp nozzles and a built 68 here in near future

Well, since an inline 6.7 cummins is going to spool a S467.7 charger different then a v8 6.4 and this is a powerstroke forum, thought it would be a good note.

Got word today that a 64.5fmw/68/14cm gated t3 made 650hp in an LB7 Duramax. It will soon be swapped out for the 64.5/70/14cm to see what a drop in drive pressure will net...

I understand that it'll have slight spool differences. I did have a 6.4 prior. And I'm quite aware it's a powerstroke forum I've been on here since the site originated.

But I'm not trying to argue about trucks just what my experience is with the FMW series turbos since I am running one.

I understand, lets throw a s467.7 on a 6.5L and see how she spools haha.
