Run stock bolts with the spartan 310 or 350 tune. Let me know how it works after 5k miles. Sorry for derailing the thread. The truck is sick as hell!

Hate to continue the derail, but JD ran intake, exhaust, tune and a 71mm atmo, and then a 72mm and 60hp nozzles WITHOUT studs, for 15k miles, before he did studs, and there were no issues prior to doing them(i.e. He didn't HAVE to), and he had a set up that had dynoed 642.
I feel pretty confident in saying that studs are not a necessity for a 6.4.

if that's the case, throw the Spartan in the trash!

bought my F350 with 108k... ran H&S 300HD up until about 160k or so, and have run Gearhead's race tune from then up until now. Currently at 182k.

My F250 I have run the same race tune from 97k until current (113k or so)

If you're blowing the head gaskets in only 5k miles, you're running the wrong tune or you're flat out abusing the truck
