I bought this as a flip and it's just kinda hung around. It came from Fayetteville Arkansas, had a new trans just before getting punched in the nose. 160,000 miles no rust. $1300.

It's hard to see but the dark green truck behind it was also rust free and gave up it's nose.

After paint. It was a code match instead of pigment match. Won't make that mistake again

After listing it for awhile with no responses and using it to haul I've grown quite attached. Other than the fact that its a dually it's perfect. I simply don't need a dually as much as I like them. So I've decided to chop single it.

Rust free donor bed $450 for complete truck, front clip will go on my ecsb 4wd conversion. The rest will be parted or scrapped, should recoup the whole $450 then some.

Ironically this pic and the 1st we're taken at the same place LOL

The plan is to pull the dually parts and bed, chop the frame and repaint including the front clip.

I hope to sell the bed axle and tires/wheels for the original purchase price and have the truck for free :D

i did ask in a different thread, but why not step cut? just gonna do the old school fish plate?

live life full throttle

Because its simply not necessary, & could actually lead to annealing. Fish plate will strengthen and "fix" the tensile strength the over saturation of heat stole but it just seems smarter to skip the whole mess by welding in a correct method. Least amount of heat saturation deepest penetration.
