I can live with the CEL. A boost fooler is just something else that can break.

My 97 has seen 40psi mulitple times, no fooler. But I hate these damn OBS's, at least mine anyways. The PCM is too dumb, some days it will throw codes, other days it won't, and on occasion it will throw ghost codes. One day i held 35-40psi for a bit, no code(except ICP). Drove a couple miles normal, and threw an overboost and EBP code. Then somedays i will never even run it hard, and it will throw codes. LOL FWIW my MAP sensor pegs at 28.8psi, or 43.5psi actual.
But i have thought about getting a fooler just to protect the MAP sensor.
