boost gauge stuck

I dropped my rzr off at the dealership and on my way home with an empty trailer I noticed my boost gauge was stuck between 35 -40 psi and the truck was in limp mode. Pulled over shut it off and then it was fine. Any ideas on what would cause this? 2012 6.7 lariat.

probably the MAP sensor had an issue and was reading a false manifold pressure reading

Ok, I seen one other guy had the same issue and it was his map sensor. I was just hoping it was nothing major. Kinda weird that shutting it off and restarting it would fix it.
