Bully Dog Shift Enhancer

Somebody gave me one. It's brand new, still in the box. Are they any good, or should I get rid of it?

I've heard people say they tear trans up. But I have a buddy who thinks they are awesome and has had 0 problems

I wouldn't use it in my truck. I would sell it and get a transgo shift kit or custom valvebody.

That thing is just a shift valve. Take out stock shift valve and put that one in. Firms up 1st to 2nd I think. I think Sonnax makes shift valves that are cheaper. When my old toasted tranny was still in service I had one installed. Still shifted firm till it was replaced.
