Can I use an IPR with edge filter in a early 99 HPOP?

I posted this over in the 94-97 section a few weeks ago but didn't get any bites so figured I'd try here. I have a non returnable IPR with edge filter and a early 99 HPOP on my 95. Will using the early IPR in my later pump cause any problems? I don't think it would but figured I better ask the experts before I wreck anything lol! Thanx in advance.

Don't think so.
You can go the other direction, so it should be the same.
I was told ford superceded the old ipr with the newer sd style.
