can stock rods be reused?

im getting pistons and since there a fractured rod ive heard i need to also buy new rods but i have also heard you do not does anyone have info on this? thanks

I reused mine. Twice. No problems. I did see a video from a ford master tech saying they needed replaced after each use just recently though.

Most new ford short blocks have reman rods in them.

He shows new rods and says one time use.

Not saying you're wrong because I've never bought a short block.

Just giving a little info

I reused one rod when I cracked a piston. That was at 47000 miles. I'm at 120k now. And its seen some good power

ok guys sounds good as long is there not messed up i will just get new bearings and reuse them plus i got 2 engines so i have 16 to choose from lol

check your twist, and center to center measurements. is they spec out? use them.

when i built my 6.4 in my 450 i bought new. they are not expensive for stockers
