Centramatics + 75,000 miles = garbage...

Definitely think the powerband will be perfect with the upgrades! At least you didn't get 4.88's. Hauled with my bussies with 22.5's on it still turning 2800 at 70 or close hard to remember. Had tons of power down low no top end. I'm with B585 wuts up with the GV?

I brought it to Ford Performance Specialists.... LOL They are the ones in all of the Diesel Power Mags, with the advertisement

Well, when I first got there, the guy tried to sell me an Edge tuner... Then tell me that 6.0 manifolds, and custom uppipes were a waste of time, and anyone who tells me that is a good idea, reads too much on the internet... As well a wastegate is not worth running on these trucks.... So, going back to this guy for performance upgrades, is HIGHLY UNLIKELY... However, he had 3 trucks on the lifts, getting GVs installed... So, I figured that he could at least handle that. Problem was, that they guy that sold me the GV was missing a few parts. However, the agreement was made, that what ever the new parts cost me, he would cover. The 3 parts that were missing, would have cost over $1,300 including shipping, and I couldn't screw this dude over, seeing as how he sold it to me for $1,600, and would likely only see $300 of that. I didn't expect him to take that much of a loss. So, Heavyhaul is buying it from the guy, and I got my money back.

I think so too. Lightly loaded or unloaded should see a drastic improvement in MPGs, and as long as I keep her around 2 K RPM, I should have no issues pulling heavy. Yeah, 4.88s would be rediculous on the open road, loaded or otherwise! LOL Those short gears would def get the load moving, but that 6.4 would be screaming on a highway in west Texas! LOL

It was screamin at 65 to me. Pulled like a freight train!! In town. Had like 18k behind it. Pulled the same load in a f350 with 3.73 ripped it along just toasty! Safe driving!

Thanks for the link. I will be taking the centramatics off the rear end later this evening after the rain. She was all balanced up last month. I'll report what I get.

I've been running tire beads for the last 5-6 years, and they are especially good if you've got tire vibration.

Yeah, I think I might give them a shot...

I did, last night, take the rear Centramatics off, and yes, my rig runs a whole lot smoother.... Def not pleased with their performance. She is still a stiff riding biotch, and I am still running the factory shocks... LOL 131 K on the ticker now... I have a set of Bilstiens to put on, just need to find the time... LOL
