Buddy talked me into going to the track tonight. First time going down a drag strip personnel and with the truck. Goofed up on the launch. Only left at like 1200rpms. I'm running Jessie Byall engine and trans tuning. Truck bogs down when it shifts into OD. Not sure if it needs to shift later or what to keep that from doing that. Pulled like a train down the back half though. What should I be running with this setup?

Few tuning issues and it should be in the 12's I think.

Had 3/4 tank of fuel. Weighted the truck the other day with a fuel tank and it was ~88xxlbs.

Temp was 87 with 100% humidity
I'm sure the 35's are not helping

A better 60ft would put you much deeper in the 12s.
Not to mention those race conditions sound less than ideal.

You need some tuning. It should be trapping much better than that.

Agreed, trap speed is definitely low.
For 60% overs it doesn't seem to be fueling very hard by the looks of the video.

I'm switching to Gearheads motor file, but he won't make me a new trans file. Told me to stick with jesse Byalls trans file. Buddy said it hazed the whole track.

What is boost getting to? Gate may be bleeding of too much pressure and not driving the chargers hard enough

Like 45-50psi. I didn't really look at anything lol. Egts maxed at about 1750

I need an aftermarket EBP gauge. It pegs the stock one to 72PSI. Any brand recommended?

I've always ran Isspro. No issues. I'm running performax series. Love the gauges

Thanks, Ill check them out. Not into having gauges and all in the truck so these will be temporary until everything is jiving correctly.

Look into the EV2 gauges if you just want temporary.

Sure your gate is setup properly? I might be a little cautious on the bp side but I don't let mine get that high... 48psi boost, 65bp is the most I'll let it do
