Its not the HP That kills these things its the Torque load and where you put the fuel at. If some fuel was pulled out even more down low then It probably would've had a better chance at staying alive on stock rods.
The graph is of the same tune just diff start sequence in the test " starting to add load at lower rpm " you can see for this calibration in the vehicle that it still likes to add fuel down the lower we go. This is turn creates more of a combustion pressure spike at the lower RPM's hence trying to crunch rod out of block lol
So for you stock rod guys..... Yes it is all possible to get a lil carried away if you want to make your right foot heavy. And no we are not getting into who tuned the truck as it is also something that is used in most of your 6.7 as we speak.
In my opinion they could all use fuel pulled down low a lil bit more in ALL tuners. That is just my 02.
