Confused on tuning '13

I've searched and found some info on tuning/deleting my '13 but a little confused on the best way to go. If I'm understanding right I need say a mini max (or street??) then have to unlock it and use someone else's tunes?
What's going to be the best way to go in your opinions? I don't tow over about 10k and not often at all. Truck is leveled on 35s. Looking for great driveability and past the racing and beating on it at every light phase

Sct x4 and edge cts is a very good affordable combo , paired with a egr blockoff plate set , You would be set for about $1300.

For what it's worth I've got a '13 with an H&S Tuner with an absolute performance full EGR delete and a 5'' Flo Pro exhaust. bigrpowr is very well known and has some great products!
