Debating 35s instead of 37s

I finally bought some Novakanes! I've had the truck for 2 years and have wanted those wheels since the day I bought it! The truck currently has 37x13.50R18 Mickey Thompson ATZs. Since the new wheels are 20 obviously I need tires too. I am going with Toyo's for the new wheels but am debating going with 35s instead of 37s. What performance increases will I see with the 35s over the 37s? (i.e. horsepower gains, fuel mileage gains)? Does anybody have pics of a 6" lift with 35s? Thanks for you help!

I went some 36s to 315s to 285s and I loved every step.. I'll be staying at 285s. I noticed better acceleration (of course) when going to a small tire.. I have no clue about fuel mileage because I don't track it.

I hate the way my truck looks with 35s on my 4.5" icon (hoping to get 37s today).. I would not go that small on a 6"

That being said, i have 35x13.50s on stock rims to they actually measure out quite a bit smaller than 35s...

:whs: IMO 35s look OK with a 4.5" lift(originally my dream set up), but 37's look WAY better w/ a 4.5" lift. Personally, I'd go with 37s or 38s(if they fit w/o rubbing)

Slight derail, I looked at a truck today and forgot to check the tire size, I'll post a pic(and one of a 7in lift w/ 35s), you guys think you could maybe guess an approximate suspension set up? It looks like a 4.5 with 35s, but I'm not sure.

Give me a sec to get the pics together.

I had 35" Toyo Mt's on with 3" level kit. When They wore out at 63k miles it was cheaper at the time to get the 37" M16's. All I did was trim the fenders some to accommodate them. I noticed better highway mileage but worse city. But neither was more than a 1mpg. I have stock r&p of 3.73 open diff.
