Post up summore pictures of the internals...
Looking at the bore in the picture, it doesn't look like there is alot of crosshatch...

changing it up a bit. :thumbsup:



didnt get started as soon as I wanted, had to gather and work our replacement heifers. But started this afternoon and only got to the heads. one of the head gaskets were blown, Oil plug has metal shavings on it (expected) but what wasn't expected was this......

got to the bottom end, rod bearing for #4 is gone, thats why the cylinder was contacting the head. Main baring got hot at some point. Dont know if it was from the other issues or not. Ill find out when I pull the crank. Done working on it today since its terkey day and all

i seem to recall when Dalpilot was running it there was oil system failure, could this be some residual damage from then, or were the bearings and crank done after that.

Last time it was starvation due to the shotty filtration system. Last time spun 7 and 8 hence the low volume. #4 is a mystery.
