Did I buy the wrong tuner??

I just got my h&s mini maxx tuner in. However I'm not sure I got the right one. I order the race version and Instead I received the street tuner.The box reads street tuner on top but on the side it has a sticker that says 109003 race. Which one did I get??

Have you contacted the company you purchased it from? I would start there, but most Mini Maxx's now a days are unlocked street tuners that will work no problem.

It just got here about an hour ago. I did send the company an email but I'm sure they are closed for the day. No bigrpowr I didn't buy it from Rudy's. Im starting to wish I did.

If it has race on the box I'm sure it's already unlocked. Why don't you try and load it on the truck to see

It should be good. The one I got for my 6.4 said the same thing, but was good to go

i think you plug in and show settings and the version will appear.

Yes buddy it is more then likely a street tuner that has been turned into a race tuner. Just plug it up to the truck and see if it will let you delete the dpf..problem solved

like he said, i think if you go to load a tune and it asks if emissions is removed you are good.

Out of the last two I've ordered, one came in a street tuner box but was unlocked to delete, the other didn't even come in a box, just attached to a piece of cardboard lol

from what i understand allot of companies are selling ulocked street tuners are race tuners. That how mine was when i bought it. There is a couple diffrences from what i understand, but still same options and power levels. I also think the newer street tuners will work on the newer fords where the old race tuners will only work up to 11 or 12?

I know if you have an older mini maxx and it's vin locked h&s will reset it and it becomes a street tuner. Can these be unlocked still or do we have to follow the channels that are out there? I only ask as I found an older mini maxx that is vin locked. Please feel free to use pm's.
