So I have a edge evo that I use to monitor and it used to be mounted to my dash till I installed my pillar gauge. I had it sitting in my center counsel till my dog decided it could be a chew toy. Anyways I decided to mount it above my rear view mirror so it was out of the way and still easy to see. Saw one online for like 60$ and figured I could build instead. I have it pretty much complete but I can't figure out how to mount it without drilling into the headliner. Any ideas or pictures of previous diy brackets would be appreciated.

How are the overhead consoles that come in our trucks mounted? Take one apart and you might get a couple ideas? I mounted my CTS in the top of the cubby by the heater controls

I don't know . i don't have the overhead console. I think they are screwed into the headliner. Im trying to avoid putting more holes in the headliner. But yeah I seen few mounted down by the heater controls. I wasn't to fond of having to look down away from the road to see it. I do appreciate the idea.

Ah, I missed that part. What about just to the right of the gauge cluster on the dash?

They have a window suction cup mount you could use. I'm not particularly a fan. It looks like you're pretty handy, don't see it being very hard to build a new one. Biggest problem again would be mounting it to the dash
