dose anyone have run a side dump exhaust

i have a 45 degree 4 inch exhaust pipe that dumps in front of my tire and the wheel is always black my question is if i cut off the 45 and put on a 90 would that help keep the wheel cleaner? i would like to keep the side dump because i plan on making it in to dual side dumps. i'm sure your going to ask why, because everyone runs stacks or single or cool duals no is running dual side dump.

It's all in how far out the cut is compared to the tire. On my OBS I had it almost flush with the bed. Never could keep it clean. When I did my Ex I pushed the tip out to almost half the tire tread. It turns to a very light black chrome after about 2 tanks of fuel. By that time the truck needs a wash anyway.

Ive had my side dump with a 90* for a few days now an the only place im getting soot is right above the exhaust. I have it dumped out just a few inch after where the cab an bed meet.

yep 90* will help a ton, as well as runnin ur tip out a little farther
