Dual alternator kit

So who is holing out on the secrets here? Relocating my alternator is inevitable, how am I going to overcome this problem?

I'm running the stock alternator, in the stock location. Soooo...I'm out.

It's pretty simple man, get a factory lower alternator, tensioner, belt pulley and mount. Than remove the upper.


The way the trusted one is, is exactly how mine was.

If the upper alt is removed then then there is too much slack in the main belt, as they mention in that competition diesel forum. Anyone have an idea where to get a shorter belt that they speak of?

You know they sell different sized belts at all the autoparts stores right? Remove the alternator and reroute the belt.
