On a like midwest's where one line from each pump is connected to each bank and the pumps are connected by the other two ports what would happen if the serpentine belt broke and the second pump stopped?

Basically I tell a lot of people the same thing, it's no different than if you had a single pump. And it's not any more likely for a belt failure with that than losing a main serpentine on a stock truck. The only added variable will be your k-16. If the front k-16 fails, locks up and smokes the belt then your out of luck anyway because most likely the truck will not continue running if the fuel system is trashed. It's basically a non issue.

Still deciding between rudys spring or TS. Full 1/4, 3 pull lanes, closer, and a quick trip to Nashville is hard to pass up though lol.. And we will be at rudys fall.. Gonna add a second gate here shortly along with better boost control.. Plan to spray it to low 11's

Thanks Morgan it's always nice to here it straight from the source. I was just wondering what would happen on the off chance that the belt broke or I wanted to run the engine without accessories.

Is there any dual kit that I could run the front pump as needed?

What I mean is, take the belt off the front 2nd pump and run just fine, like in work-stock classes. Then just put the belt back on when i'm done? Obviously two seperate tunes to keep the PW right for single or dual pump.

Elite kit is the only one I can think of that runs off a second belt. I'm not sure if there would be adverse effects to basically be pushing fuel through the second pump to the passenger side rail without the pump turning, if you can grasp what I'm saying there.
