Thought I heard that there is a difference between the OBS exhaust manifold and SD manifold. Is this true?

On the older obs trucks, yes, some say you don't have to change the exhaust manifold on some 97 trucks that are getting swapped to a sd style turbo and up pipes

The manifolds I have are from a 98 e-series, which all other parts are like obs. No one ever figured out if there are different part#s from year to year?

So I figured out a major difference here on the van manifold. The drivers side manifold runs out of the exhaust port then down and under the ports whereas the trucks run above the exhaust ports. This appears to be for clearance issues with the doghouse. The connection for the uppipe looks to be in the same spot as the OBS. Im not sure that a SD or OBS would be safe to run in the van. It looks like either one would fit but just barely.
