EGR Cooler Install Question

Is it hard to get the up-pipe and EGR Cooler exhaust aligned properly if you first install the cooler to the intake and then install them together as one unit?

I was thinking that there would be more play to ensure a good alignment if I installed the cooler first, and then the intake.

Any thoughts? Would doing this just make it more difficult to fully seal the cooler to the intake?

I doubt it's going to be difficult either way. I don't think it matters which goes on first honestly. I can't see there being a big difference either way.
