EGR delet with p0401 code

I put in the egr delet and replaced the egr valve still getting the p0401 code is it the sencer or I'm I stuck with that code

Why did put a valve in if you did the delete? What kind of kit did you use

I had tack welded the old one shut because it keep getting stuck and throwing the cel

You may need a programmer to keep the light off

So probably not the back pressure sensor then I have the edge but have been wanting to get the sct I have heard a lot of good things about them

You could pull the ebp sensor and make sure that it and the tube are clean as well as the IAT sensor in the intake on the drivers side

I did clean the ebp and tube and there wasn't much soot in there
