EGR delete w/o taking intake manifold off

you dont have to take the intake off but you do have to loosen all the intake bolts and retorque the bolts after your done, but if you are going to do the egr delete do a oil cooler also and you will have to take the intake off then.

well the plan was to do the delete and a coolant filter truck still has low miles

For what extra it takes just remove the intake. The extra room is worth the effort of taking it off. Besides once it is off you can clean it easily. Sometime you get lucky and there is little soot blockage and other times not so much.

I have lifted intake to replace front covers but never lifted passenger side of intake. I wouldn't try that but to each there own.

Those are really good derections

Ant time I do any work like this I wash the intake it's the best way.
