EGR ****** up pipe only?

So I dont want to go through all the work removing my intake to do an EGR ****** and I already have the SCT livewire custom tunes removing the functionality of the EGR. Can I just buy new up pipes without the scoop for the EGR to remove the hot gases flowing to the cooler as an easier solution? Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

And btw I live in Floriduh so emissions are not a concern.

Yes that would work just fine. It would be the same as welding the cooler shut
