I don't have a delete on my truck. I do periodic maintenance on the EGR valve. The valve is fairly clean and dry. In side the egr the very bottom is damp. How wet is too wet. Is it failing with a little dampness or is this normal.
I have read that wet ness is a sign of a failing egr. I am not loosing any coolant. Level is staying the same.
150K + mileage.

The valve itself will be wet if the cooler is failing.

The wetness you're seeing is from the crankcase venting a small amount of oil into the intake.

Nothing to worry about
