EGT Question

[c63 AMG]

2015 Spaaartan w/Ezlynk and probe in blockoff plate. EGTs were find until yesterday. In idle they about 900 degrees which is about 400 warmer than normal. Temp actually goes down when I accelerate now but this reading is still higher than normal as well.

Would the probe go bad that fast (2015) or is this something else? Seems like incorrect reading.

Work with Ezlynk. Mine worked from day one (been months) until yesterday.

My bad! Read that wrong, id say sensor for sure. Yours idles at 500? Mine would drop below 300 idling

Thanks. Never idled that low usually around 400's.

Edit: think we are talking about to different things. I was referring to idle egt temp not rpm.
