Engine cutting out

been cranking it for 30 seconds at a time, no smoke that i can see and yes it is registering RPM

Bad idm would throw a p1316 along with others most likely

It can only be three things really:you dont have enough battery to start the truck(****ty cranking, not enough.voltage while cranking for the idm to command injectors to fire), you dont have enough oil pressure(hpop/lpop), or you arent.getting fuel.

Ignoring what happened when you killed the truck, check those three things. You may have knocked something loose rather than sucking air.

Btw this was an IDM issue

And now the truck is throwing a 1316 after two months with the "new" used IDM.. I wonder if I have that bad of luck to be burning up idm's or if there is another issue somewhere

P1316 can be from a failed uvch too...
