I know David Lot@DI does it.

Where are you located?? That would be a telling factor and how far are you willing to run?

Thanks a lot guys, I will look into all, these guys that was mentioned. According to a source I know Jonathan at NLTD doesn't do engine builds. Does anyone know of someone running engines from the names mentioned including Swamps?

Thanks , I'll look him up.
I'm running David's competition long block. Nowhere near the same animal as the short block in the link to DI.

I absolutely love my motor now that the bugs are worked out. David builds a great competition motor.

What's better about a custom engine than a stock one with some regular upgrades? I.e. hybrids, 66-68 turbo...
The motor being balanced and blueprinted for one. I don't personally know anyone that can do that in their garage at home or under the shade tree. There are a lot of little tricks that guys like David, Dave (from Swamp's), Carson Stauffer, Bill at PHP, HRT, etc. know that make the difference between a motor living or blowing, especially at higher HP.
