I am wondering about the feasibility of putting a fuel tank from an Excursion in my '99 truck as an aux tank. Ever been done? I can't find it if it has.

Its not worth the hassle. I had an excursion tank for years. It would fit, but would be a total pain in the ass.

Sold it to Steven IIRC... And I dont think he ever installed it.

Don't care about loosing the x-brace where the spare used to go, but I got built in storage under my camper shell. It would be a huge PITA to remove. I think I should have done any bed off work first...

Don't know how to post links, but if you go to the "need advice" thread, in this forum, I have an abbreviated writeup, not super detailed, but should get you started.

Can't find nothing labeled "need advice". I post links by clicking "copy" then "paste" after a right click on the web address tab top left.

Anybody know the thread he's talking about?

I think that'll work, 7.3 aftermarket forum, "need advice", it's on the first page. Sorry, I'm way dumber than this phone!
