Thanks for the info guys, ill try to stay out of the throttle unit I get this fixed. There is a Bulletproof diesel about twenty minutes from my house. Maybe I can get a good deal there.

This would be my first stop. Talk to anyone there about what makes their FICM better and I can't imagine you buying one somewhere else.

Some of the best products and customer support of any company out there. Just genuinely good people.

I'm taking a shot in the dark that he's referring to THE Bulletproof Diesel since he's in AZ.

One quick way to confirm: OP - does this shop have a tank? Like a no kidding, armored vehicle with tracks and a big gun on a turret? :D

You can just have it repaired... I haven't seen any issues with any that I've repaired after...

I'm with you Mike. My father reflowed the solder in mine couple years back when it started not wanting to start, truck has been fine ever since.
