Fifth wheel hitch for short beds

What is the general opinion on hitches on the market. Short bed pick up. Probably need a slider. Been looking at

B&W companion.

I've got a b&w companion and I also have an adapter to convert the 5th wheel trailer to a gooseneck. I've used both before with no issues.

I can't really convert my fifth wheel to a gooseneck as I have the trail air hitch. But I hear great things about the B&W

The adapter I got bolts onto the trailer over the 5th wheel piece so you can hook it up to a vooseneck style hitch. I'll see if I can find a pic

Here's a couple screen shots I found. Mine is like the offset one to help out since mine is a short bed. I like the companion for the longer hauls but if your not traveling long distances then the adapter would work. Just depends on budget or your piece of mind.

O just seen the pic of your hitch. Not sure if an adapter would work or not. What kind of hitch is currently in your truck

I got rid of my bumper pull and bought this fifth wheel. So I gotta find a hitch for it now.
