I've narrowed it down to the 5160's, the fox http://www.foxracingshox.com/produc...F350&year=2011-2008&position=Front&ref=filter which they also make in a resevoir and the PP.

I priced out the kings and just for the rear I'm looking at nearly 800 bucks. Can't quite justify that for just the rears.

I've already talked to cary about the PP but I want some input from end-users.
The Fox, according to Fox, are valved for the SD.

Anyone run these?

When I called all three, they all claim their shocks to be truck specific.
When I called fox, I inquired about the resevoir shock and he talked me out of it. It was mentioned that for DD, on the street, the extra cost of the resevoir set up isn't normally worth it.
The Fox solid body is only about 120 bucks vs 200 for the 5160.

I was looking to go with Fox solid bodys also, I need them soon. When are you going to pull the trigger?? Mine will probably be soon so if your looking at a few months down the road I might be able to get you some feedback.

If you wanted the kings but are looking for something of quality and still preform well I'd go with the 5160's. We've done a few of them and they are really nice and keep a good ride quality.

Hell, I'd love the kings but I cant justify 1600 for the set.
I hear the 5160 was originally designed w/ the SD in mind, if I understood correctly.

For the price of the Fox, and they are supposed to have a good racing history, was the reason i considered them.

I think im going to opt for the 5160s. My main concern is hopefully they dont rust as fast as the 5100s do. The site says they are coated so hopefully not.

The 5160 was originally developed for the SD. The 5100 is a bit more generic but I wonder why a resevoir design was needed to tune it more specific, besides the cost of 85 bucks vs 190 bucks.

Tank hates the bilstiens because they rust and pit so fast.

The fox SD specific smooth bodies are only about 120 bucks vs the 190 for the bilstiens.

I'd go icon 2.5 smooth bodies.

Those are 400 or so a piece. 1600 for the whole truck, no thanks.
I have been so unimpressed w/ their customer service when I call with questions.
KING and Fox and even bilstien were super happy to answer my questions, give me input and even gave me part #'s. When I called ICON, he wouldn't give me part #'s and said I'd have to look it up!
