Front Rotors

Need new rotors for an 06. Did a search didn't find much.
Is everyone staying with stock rotors or is there a real benefit to going aftermarket? If aftermarket which ones?

Going to Powerslots and Hawk pads will get a little better stopping power. If your warping the rotors you may want to get them Cyro treated. PM me if I can help.

what is special about 'powerslots' other then they look 'cool'?

Slotted rotors release pad gas that cause brake fading.

maybe back in the 50s when pad off gassing was an issue

It also circulates air to the pad and rotor when they make contact. Which keeps the heat down.
